For the Living Light Sculptures series, we collaborated to create pieces that use custom LED hardware to bring out the details of the glass and refract colorful patterns on surrounding walls. We added bluetooth control via a custom app to control the animations, timing, brightness and color. The LEDs are seamlessly integrated into beautifully crafted bases by Scooter. It all works together to enhance the beauty of the unworldly forms.
For this project, I focused on the iOS app development, and had a part to play in the development of the Arduino-based driver platform. The controller code is written in C.
I would like to thank Charlie Honeycutt for is help and hard work leading the electrical engineering side.
