MyRounding began at 303 Software and spun off to become its own fast growing startup. I was involved since the very beginning gathering requirements, drawing wireframes and creating the iOS app. The company was purchased in 2016 by Huron Consulting Group. Since its inception, its been used to complete over 15 million surveys, and is used in thousands of hospitals in the U.S. The main purpose of the app is to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes by capturing qualitative data at all levels of a hospital hierarchy. It relies on a substantial backend, and API which allows users to build high-level reporting and analytics and also customize every template and question in the app along with other customizations. Until November 2018, I was in charge of every aspect of the mobile app including creating the GUI, UX, Objective-C and Swift development, deployment through the Apple App Store, and writing services for the API.
